After starting the week still feeling the after effects of the weekend (to which i realise i am far too old to do again..champagne recovery cant be done with a fanta and big breakfast anymore) i decided to make up for my missed day and get stuck into fixing a few dresses i had in my "I'll get there" pile.

This adorable pastel dress originally had long puffed sleeves and removing them has made all the difference! The cute shoulder detail makes it appear as if it was meant to be this way in the first place so im pretty chuffed about that! Now i am on a bit of a roll i might start on the other dresses too..i always have the best intentions attempting to rescue dresses so hopefully i dont have to let any go due to my eager scissors!

I have been a little obsessed with The Troggs and reading THIS today...oh my! It has been the sole reason i have been bursting out in laughter at work! Oops!

I am also going to be filming the next hair how-to video over the weekend! Anything you particularly need some tips on? Happy Wednesday Xx

(Wearing: Vintage dress, Vintage brooch, Vintage cardigan, Lola Heels)

Great alteration to this dress! It's so adorable on you! I love the pretty, spring print and the bow detail at the neck. You always look so gorgeous!

That pattern is just gorgeous, I love what you've done with the dress! I always think it would be so easy to transform ugly vintage clothes, you make me want to break out my sewing machine.

How do you maintain a hairstyle like this all day? My hair can start out super cute, but by the end of the day, it's all sorts of crazy!

What a pretty dress, it really opens up possibilities when you see dresses that look like they have potential but are unsure as what to do as to not ruin it. I really should tackle my mend pile too, so many dresses I could be wearing but am honestly procrastinating on. I need motivation and possibly better mending skills. :)
