Whenever I wear lavender I get an instant urge to put pastel colours in my hair, (I don’t think I would ever go as far as doing it..going red was enough of a leap) but it just cries out for dusty pastel shades. As much as I love my bright wardrobe I try and incorporate a little bit of a mix. Unfortunately those bright shades are a little harder to mix and match with other pieces, so a vintage pleated skirt is a must for any girl! I found this incredibly delicious skirt while rummaging around in my local op shop yesterday it has everything I look for in the perfect skirt…length, detail, fit and fabric! It is heavy enough to not blow up at a random wind gust but not too heavy for a good twirl!

This weekend is hopefully going to be filled with a bit of exercise, taking in a few dresses, watching Arrested Development re-runs, a few cocktails and a bit of antique shopping! Bliss! I hope you all have a few well deserved days off. Xx

What a darling outfit. I simply adore your brooch. You look lovely per usual. Your weekend sounds like it will be delightful! Sadly, I'll have to wait until next weekend to have some fun, but I can't wait and will make sure it's chock full of it.

It's such a lovely find....and your right, it's perfect! You should do the whole pastel hair thing......I use a wash in/out dye mixed with conditioner........I'm always switching between lavender and lilac, I'm going to try out pale coral next :) Super easy and non-committing!
Fabulous brooch too!

Can I hang out with you this weekend? That sounds exactly like what I want to do! lol.

You should get hair chalk for temporary color. I use it a lot. It comes out when you wash it and you can make it as subtle or intense as you'd like. Something like this.
