DIY Christmas!

This Christmas i have decided i want to take on a few DIY projects, normally i am so rushed around this time of year i dont take time to really get into the handmade side of things! This is going to change my friends!!

I thought i would share with you my top four DIY's that i will be tackling in the next week or so.

Whipperberry posted an adorable Snow Globe how-to which i am completely in love with especially since they are in mason jars!! I think i will add a few forest creatures (plastic ones..dont get too excited there)to mine and jumble them all together..Love!
I have lots of fond memories when i was younger stamping paper for presents with potatoes! My mother would get so tired of the constant whinging my sister and i would put her through during the holidays she would sit us down and let us go for it, it was always a win win since she would get crafted paper and we would be quiet for about an hour or so! I think this celery stamp idea is perfect..so perfect i cant belive i didnt think of this myself!! Geninne's Art Blog will give you a quick step by step on making it!

I desperately want to make these sprinkle filled baubles even though i am having visions of dropping one and forever finding sprinkles scattered through the house i am determined that i wont let my clumsiness get the better of me (better use a funnel) i mean come on! How cute are these?

This by far is going to be the DIY that is going to test my patience but i am so looking forward to getting stuck into it! Our front door already has a wreath but i want to make a special one to replace it! im going to weave tiny red baubles through it too (just a few) fingers crossed it turns out as pretty as this one! So now i have officially committed to doing these DIY's i will be able to share with you my finished pretty pieces, i am starting the paper wreath this weekend and have just the book to do it with too!
