Pink Lace
Over the weekend i went to an engagement party in a cute little Marquee on a boiling hot day! I had a slight melt down while deciding what to wear and did the usual 100 outfits before i went with the first outfit i picked anyway, a cute top and skirt (the earrings are actually carved shell ships..love..).
Since it was in a park i went sans heels just to avoid sinking into the grass and making an embarrassment of myself (disaster averted)! It really was a lovely day and aside from a small self-induced champagne headache i think i pulled up pretty well.
I hope your week has been swell! we had our first taste of summer yesterday and im not quite sure im ready for the scorching heat yet! my poor pasty skin is struggling already, i am however getting excited about fresh fruit juices and finally getting some good usage of our pool! Cant wait!!
(Wearing: Mimco Clutch, Boston Heels, Cotton On Skirt, Dotti Top, Vintage Belt, Vintage Ship Earrings)
That's such a cute outfit, you look gorgeous! Ugghh it was so hot yesterday! Couldn't stay inside because it was too hot, couldn't go outside because pale skin + sun = sunburn. BLEEUGHH.

So very elegant, as always. It always hard to dress for the elements i.e. hair out on a windy day, heels when walking around a lot. I'd say flats was a good call :D
