Gramophone Love...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
One of my most prized possessions is my HMV Gramophone, even though it needs a little love is beaten up and appears very sorry for itself, i love that it sits comfortably in the corner of my room next to my vintage books (my room is almost a retirement village for vintage items) i have only played it a few times much to the annoyance of my flat mate as it has a spooky eerie sound that might resemble a cat fight!

Like everyone else these past few weeks have been super super busy buying christmas presents, putting up the tree, planning a holiday with my man for next year and organising bits an pieces for my birthday over the weekend! turning the big 25 is a little daunting but im excited for the next year! hopefully it holds big big things for me and the vintage valley shop!!! Im having a little bbq down by the river with a few close friends hopefully the weather isn't too hot..ill be taking lots of pics xx

Happy Monday!

Wow, I've been lazy about getting a new needle for my 1950s record player and you have a gramophone! Also are those hearts decals or paper cutouts? Definitely a sweet backdrop for photos.

These photos are simply lovely - your pretty hairstyle and vintage dress, but also the sweet hearts "pouring" out of the gramophone. Beauty!

That dress is perfect! I have never bought a vintage dress myself because the vintageshops in Belgium kinda suck and you don't find such pieces... You look great :)

i do pretty much the exact same thing, local vhosts and all. taking nightly backups of /home is easy with rsync, so when anything goes awry, i just pull down the folder from my vps. since the cronjob itself is in the folder, even my backup script gets backed up. what ide do you use?
