I just realised i havent gotten around to telling you about my Melb trip, well it wasnt a trip more like a nights sleep.. i didnt get to see much of Melbourne except for the warehouses and McDonalds..Bed...And then up at 5am to fly back home.. i do love Melb though the atmosphere is so different, there is life in the city and i finally spied some cute looking men (which Perth is seriously lacking) If i had the chance id pack up and move there in an instant..(even if it is super cold) but that just means id get more wear out of my capes...

Speaking of capes..ahem!!!! This is one of my OpShop finds..from my fav store they always have the most amazing things to find. It was instant love, i love the extra length and the fading buttons and the feeling of weight when you wear it, its a perfect sturdy piece!! I was told when i purchased it that it may have been a 1950's or 60's Nurses Cape thats why its a little longer..i sometimes wish clothes could talk..could you imagine the stories they would tell...

The checker skirt is one of the first things i learned to hem on, so needless to say im pretty proud of it.. i know its not a huge achievement but it is to me haha..
Well i better get back to work, im thinking i might try and squeeze in some baking this morning also...ive got the itch to make some brownies!!
Have a fab wednesday lovelies XX

  4. What a gorgeous winter cape!! I tend to stick to cardigans in winter (and freeze) because I never seem to like the look of 'jackets', but this is so inspiring! xxx
