(For you are my fate, my sweet)

(Warning: Incredibly gushy, lovey dovey post ahead)

On a sunny afternoon, under a willow tree in Carlton Gardens my love asked me to marry him. Although it was a surprise at that particular moment it has been no surprise at all that this was something we both so very much wanted and knew was meant to be!

I have always been a flag bearer for love and dreamed large..larger than possible for that certain someone with full knowledge that it was almost in the "come on" category, i had reached a point in my life where i was so extremely happy with where i was and where i was going that if a partner was to come along they would have to be a core shaker.

Little did i know it would all become a reality, when i mention love at first sight i am fully aware you may be raising a "mmhmm" eyebrow at your screen but it in all honesty was, i still remember the smell of sweet night air, the yellow light the bar poured out on to the street glinting into his cheeky blue eyes, the perfume i had painstakingly selected and the sweaty palms and stuttering i managed to so elegantly blurt out during those few hours...as soon as i linked my arm in his and he walked me home..life just changed.

I know i haven’t mentioned much about our meeting or courtship through the months but i can with a sincere heart tell you that my path in life is fuller, brighter and more fun than it has ever been and my heart will never long for passion and serenity from another anymore because it is always full and growing, ever more so each day.
